🙅♀️🙅 Pessimists
Negative Nancy says - “Google Search Console is pretty decent. Any wrappers on Google Search Console doesn’t make any sense”
Me - Certainly, managing Google Search Console for 1-2 sites with a limited number of pages is straightforward. However, as the number of sites and pages/sitemaps increases significantly, navigating and interpreting the data becomes more complex. In such scenarios, advanced tools becomes essential to analyze and interpret the information provided by Google Search Console. That is where products like SEOGets comes into picture and makes things easier for founders.
Negative Nancy says - “To find my SERP ranking, I can just type in my search keyword on Google and look through the results to find my website”
Me - Not a scalable approach if you want to do it every day with thousands of keywords. Also, SERP rankings are based on location. Your search results vary based on the search location. By manually search, you can only find the results from your location and you wouldn’t know how your site is performing for the same keywords in other countries. Automated SERP tracking tools do this at scale for thousands of keywords and hundreds of locations.

Micro SaaS for AI-powered Search Across Apps
Searching across apps and entire documents on a laptop can be a daunting task due to the vast amount of data stored across different applications and file formats. Manually searching through emails, documents, and spreadsheets to find specific information is time-consuming and inefficient. Also each app often has its own search functionality, making it challenging to perform unified searches across multiple platforms. Micro SaaS solutions powered by AI helps by integrating with various apps and employing advanced search algorithms to quickly locate relevant information across all documents and applications. By automating the search process and providing comprehensive results, these tools simplify information retrieval, boost productivity, and enhance user experience. Technically, these will be done via Vector Embedding and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) but the solutions need to make sure the Embeddings doesn’t go out of the laptop because of security issues. Klu is one such app helps with search across multiple products. By connecting apps like Notion, Slack, Google Drive, etc., Klu unlocks the ability to search and ask questions within these platforms. Klu raised $125K in funding. Findr also built in similar lines was ranked Weekly #1/Product of the Week on Product Hunt in Jan 2024.
Micro SaaS for Podcast Monitoring and Alerts
Monitoring and receiving alerts for podcasts isn’t easy as the search is not based directly on text. The podcast (audio content) need to be transcribed into text before running any searches and monitoring. With thousands of podcasting existing and each podcast publishing hundreds of episodes, the audio data that needs to be processed is huge. Manually tracking podcasts relevant to a brand or industry can be time-consuming and inefficient, especially with the sheer volume of content available. Staying up-to-date with new episodes and identifying key insights or mentions within each episode can be overwhelming. Traditional methods of monitoring, such as manual transcription or keyword searches, lack accuracy and may miss important information. SaaS solutions powered by AI offer a more efficient and accurate approach. These solutions can automatically transcribe podcast episodes, analyze content for relevant keywords or topics, and provide real-time alerts for mentions of specific brands, products, or topics. Organizations can automate podcast monitoring processes and stay informed about industry trends and competitor activity without the need for manual intervention. Podscan started doing this at scale and reached $1000 MRR with 30 paying customers within a 2 months of launching. Tapesearch is another example in this space with 2,300+ users. Brand24 is another SaaS solution that supports podcasts monitoring.
Micro SaaS for AI-Powered Social Listening and Context-Aware Replies
Giving casual replies on social media is one thing and giving a context-aware reply is a different thing. Most of the AI tools that help with social media replies are generic tools and sometimes the comments/relies generated by these tools looks spammy. Social listening involves monitoring and analyzing online conversations, mentions, and sentiments related to a brand, product, or topic across various social media platforms. Context-aware replies, on the other hand, refer to responding to social media interactions with personalized and relevant messages meant to the specific context of the conversation. Micro SaaS products can be built around this by niching down to a specific platform as well. For example, ReplyGuy is an AI product that plugs your product on Reddit and Twitter naturally when someone talks about related context. ReplyGuy crossed $5K MRR by building around Reddit and Twitter. In a simialr fashion, Devi helps with AI lead generation and monitors keywords to find leads & outreach using AI. Devi reached $12K revenue in 2023-24 and built around Facebook Groups, LinkedIn monitoring mainly. Similarly YouScan niched down toward AI-powered analysis of text, images and audience data from social media. YouScan scans the images and videos as well to get more context and reached $3.9M in annual revenue.
Micro SaaS for Tiktok/Instagram Monitoring
As video content continues to proliferate on platforms like TikTok and Instagram, brand monitoring has become increasingly complex for organizations. With the rise of influencer marketing, brands often experience surges in traffic when mentioned by popular influencers, but identifying the specific videos or influencers responsible can be tedious and may not be always possible. Traditional keyword monitoring tools struggle to keep pace with the dynamic nature of video content, leading to missed opportunities and ineffective brand management strategies. As a result, organizations are looking for more advanced solutions that leverage AI and machine learning to accurately track brand mentions across diverse video platforms and identify the most impactful influencers for their marketing efforts. Storyclash with an estimated annual revenue of $2.3M (across all products) is a good example. Brand24 is also a good example in this niche that crossed $8 million in annual revenue. Awario is also a popular product with estimated annual revenue is currently $2M. Most of the SaaS solutions charge $300/m and more for the businesses.
