Ryan has grown Cuppa to $45k MRR in less than two years after acquiring it. Cuppa is a content platform that utilizes AI to build optimized content for users’ website or brand.
NextDocs has reached $650/month in revenue. It is an AI-native platform that natively integrates AI into its document editor for creating and formatting documents like resumes, contracts, and reports.

Build an AI voice assistant that makes automated phone calls on behalf of users to schedule appointments, make restaurant reservations, and handle other booking-related tasks. It should be able to call multiple businesses simultaneously to check availability. Users would input their preferences through the app specifying details like preferred time slots, alternative dates, and specific requirements. After each call, users receive a detailed transcript and booking confirmation through their preferred notification method. It should learn from past interactions to improve its conversation strategies and success rates. Simple AI is one such app, backed by Y-Combinator, with hundreds of users.

E-commerce businesses in the fashion and apparel niche need to display detailed sizing information for their products. Accurate size information is crucial for reducing returns and improving customer satisfaction. Build an app for e-commerce platforms like Shopify that helps users to easily create and integrate size charts in their online stores. The app would allow users to create customizable size charts with a drag-and-drop interface, supporting multiple measurement units and automatic conversion between them. Users should be able to create templates for different product categories, and bulk assign charts to multiple products or collections. Provide professionally designed layout templates. Each layout would support rich media elements like hover tooltips for measurement guidance, zoomable high-resolution images for measurement points, and the ability to toggle between measurement units. The app could also include analytics to track size chart usage and its impact on return rates. Jolty is a Shopify app in this niche which is used by thousands of businesses

AI agents for customer support are capable of taking actions beyond just answering questions and can take certain actions. Develop an AI Agent for Customer Support that not only understands and responds to complex customer queries but also can resolve issues by initiating and managing relevant workflows. It integrates with CRM, order management platforms and other backend systems to deliver a comprehensive support experience. For example if a customer reports a faulty product, the AI agent not only understands the issue but also automatically initiates the return process, generates a shipping label, updates the inventory system, and escalate to a human for refund approval - all autonomously. This would significantly reduce resolution times and improve customer satisfaction. Provide a dashboard for users to track every decision and action for accountability and debugging. Users should be able to mandate human approval for high-risk actions (refunds, account changes) to prevent unauthorized decisions. Build a platform that automates the rental housing search by aggregating listings from multiple websites, using AI to match user preferences and sending real-time alerts. Users could create detailed preference profiles specifying location preferences down to specific neighborhoods, price ranges, must-have amenities, deal-breakers, and lifestyle factors like commute times or proximity to schools. You can also include a neighborhood analysis tool provides detailed information about local services, crime rates, school ratings, and transportation options. You can also niche down to a specific region.For example, InstaRent is a rental property matching tool for apartment seekers in Netherlands. It reached 34 paying users In January 2025 after getting the first paying customer in December 2024.
⛳ 💡In-app Microsurvey tool for SaaS founders
Showing a quick survey inside a SaaS product will significantly improve the quality of user feedback. When you couple this with exact timing based on user actions and segmentation, the quality of user feedback improves 10x. These products help to create highly customizable in-product surveys that yield high response rates coupled with advanced user targeting for segmented & specific insights. These products let SaaS apps ask users quick questions while they're using the app. This helps makers understand what users like or don't like. It's like getting feedback directly from the people who use the app at the right time.
Products like Refiner is doing well in this space. Refiner launched in March 2020 has crossed $2K MRR in January 2021. Established products in this space charging $100-$200/m.

When it comes to onboarding, training, and live coaching, Sales/Presales teams require a distinct approach from core Engineering teams. Engineering teams typically have a fixed set of skills to learn, which can be taught with the aid of documentation and recorded videos. However, when it comes to Sales teams, the task of training a Hybrid team located both remotely and in person is far more complex. Sales teams must learn and iterate multiple times based on the calls they receive and make, both inbound and outbound. To facilitate faster onboarding, create a Micro SaaS solution that is exclusively meant for the Hybrid sales team to get onboard faster. The solution should provide a way to train on inbound/outbound calls by allowing people to take the calls together and add notes as the call goes. This solution should allow for inbound/outbound call training, with the ability to take calls together and add notes during the conversation. It should also provide other relevant workflows such as note-taking, debriefs, conversation recordings, and call simulations. For example, Teamflow tried solving this problem for sales teams exclusively and received $49.9M in funding.
