This post will cover one SaaS area and talk about multiple niches in this space. This post also explains how to do tech implementation, do market analysis, how the current players are doing, and ends with a cost analysis to understand the overall cost for 100 users.
Let’s see some of the products around the “Content Generation and Content Repurpose” niche.

Negative Nancy says - “To get LinkedIn traction, it’s better to advertise using LinkedIn native ad platform”
Me - Certainly you can. But this is often the expensive way and is not organic. There are better ways you can increase LinkedIn engagement by writing quality content. While generating quality content takes time, SaaS tools that can read your current profile data, posts data from your LinkedIn, and can generate daily content to improve LinkedIn engagement is a win-win and costs much lesser. Note that LinkedIn Ads are expensive compared to ads on Google, Twitter, and Facebook.
Negative Nancy says - “Who on earth pays for a Privacy Policy generator?”
Me - Most revenue-generating companies cannot afford to take risks with privacy policies and at the same time don’t want to spend huge money for lawyers to draft the policy. Don’t agree yet? See Privasee that crossed $2K MRR with Privacy Policy content generator.
Deep-dive & Some niches
AI-based content for LinkedIn: It is really hard to write engaging, compelling, unique, and professional posts on LinkedIn. One needs to be a good writer and understand the audience one is writing for. Most business professionals find it hard to write unique content and that is too frequently. Even though there are many AI-based content generation tools for Twitter, blogs, etc exist in the market, there are not many tools for LinkedIn content generation. LinkedIn usually charges more cost-per-click than Google, and Twitter charges for. Improving LinkedIn engagement and getting more eye-balls for your LinkedIn content is often costly. Create a Micro SaaS solution that generates daily content for customers’ LinkedIn profiles and lets customers approve the content before publishing it on LinkedIn. With GPT-3 openly accessible for everyone, content generation using AI shouldn’t be complex. But the tool should focus on the LinkedIn niche. For inspiration, see Taplio which crossed $1K MRR in less than a month with private beta.
Privacy Policy Content Generator: Many countries have high fines for privacy policy violations, GDPR violations, and terms/conditions violations. This is the reason most SaaS companies work extremely cautiously when it comes to terms & conditions and privacy policies. Create a Micro SaaS solution that solves the content generation for these privacy policies based on a questionnaire. The tool should take the basic info on a questionnaire to capture the company details, what sector they operate, the revenue, user base information, what countries they operate, etc, and then generate a pricy policy that customers can modify and use before placing on their websites. Instead of paying lawyers a huge fee for understanding global laws and drafting the privacy policy, the SaaS should automatically handle this problem. Most funded companies and revenue-generating companies cannot take a risk of generating a generic privacy policy. See Privasee that crossed $2K MRR with Privacy Policy content generator.
Video/Audio Content Repurposing Tools: Create content repurposing tools primarily meant for audio and video creators. The tool should be able to cater to various publishing platforms like TikTok, Youtube, Twitch, and Live Streaming platforms. Publishing to video platforms often involves a few requirements like adding subtitles, removing a few filler words, trimming the video, adding logos, watermarks, etc. Create a content repurposing tool that automates most of this and automatically distributes to various video and audio platforms via platform APIs for those content platforms. While publishing to various audio and video platforms is half of the game, getting the video stats, data of comments, and likes/dislikes into a neat dashboard will make it much easy to decide on what platforms the content publishing is working on. Create a Micro SaaS solution around these problems and automate most of these flows. See Repurpose for inspiration. You can also build tools for converting a simple audio(podcast) to a subtitled video with background pictures based on pre-configured settings.
Generate Image/Video content with APIs: There are a ton of use cases for this. The simplest micro saas idea we are talking about here is to provide API access to users to call the API to create the images. This is important for various reasons - for example, if you want to create simple cards with a profile photo and some text at various places on the card, you let the user create the card manually (using a GUI) or let the user pick from the set of pre-built designs. Now provide an API to the user to create hundreds of cards in the selected design format. If the card has 3 text inputs and 1 image input, the user will use the API and will pass these inputs. Your API should create an image and send the image link(after uploading it to some cloud server like AWS S3 or GCP Storage) back to the user via API response. See BannerBear for inspiration. BannerBear Crossed $100K ARR in less than 2 years with solo founder alone.
Content Research, Optimization & Generation: Writing content is not just about simply writing anymore. Writing content involves a lot of research around topics, and keywords and then putting ideas around these topics and keywords. It needs a lot of data points around the volume of the keywords, the trend/growth of the search volume for these keywords, related keywords that need to be used in the blog post, etc. Create a SaaS solution that makes these tasks simple. The tool should be able to take a few words/ideas and then be able to generate more research, data points, and related keywords on what to write and then generate sample content automatically to fine-tune, edit and publish. When doing this manually people use tools like UberSuggest, KeywordsEverywhere to understand the backlinks, search volumes, top posts for various topics, and keywords. The SaaS that will be built for this should automate most parts of this and make content research, and optimization much easier. See PostSpace that built the closest solution to this was able to generate $150K in 6 months
